PAT ON THE BACK

It has been great working with you on this project.  You have been ever so patient and co-operative in working through the detail and your opinion has always been valued.  The architectural plans were very conducive to the site and took into account all the functionality needs of our museum operations.

Margaret Phillips (Hon. Treasurer/Curator The Charles Sturt Memorial Museum Trust Inc.)

Our new home works perfectly for the three of us. The spaces are connected beautifully with the right amount of separation between areas. We can get on with the different things that come along with family life without feeling separated. Being on an exposed site the design gives us the desirable privacy and protection from the elements whilst maximising the view.

Sarah and Todd Willetts (Owners of the Spinifex House)

The Walkerville Vet building is unique in being a veterinary practice of two halves that fit seamlessly together. Modern clinical and hospital areas exist alongside extensive natural light, colour and joinery without contradiction. Pet owners report that their anxieties are allayed by the open, welcoming introduction and then by the transition to professional patient care areas when needed. Vets’ and nurses’ working environment is enhanced by bright, open spaces with wide, straight access and efficient workflows, essential for carrying or moving animals.

Dr Andrew Spanner (Owner of the Walkerville Vet)

Stephen and I would like to say that we are thrilled with the house and that we were surprised about how painless the whole process was.  One hears terrible stories about the pain and stress of house building but dealing with you all made it seem so easy and the result is just amazing.

Carol Williams (Owner of ‘House and Cart’)

We have been so fortunate to be working collaboratively with Khab for our recent STEM upgrade. Their concepts are inspiring and contextually superb. Their service is highly professional with a personal warmth. I could not recommend them more highly and it has been such positive experience with wonderful outcomes for our students.

Rebecca Huddy (Principal, Westport Primary School)

We found working with Kirsty from Khab to be a great experience. She was able to take our ideas and turn them into something far better than we had envisioned being possible. Kirsty made sure she understood the educational improvements we wanted and produced plans that turned our initial ideas into workable spaces that met all our goals.

Sue Toone (Principal, West Lakes Shore School)

I would like to thank Khab Architectsfor providing our school with highly functional and enhanced learning areas. Right from the concept design through to the completion of the project, your consultations have been highly professional, creative, thorough and efficient.  The post completion support has been impressive as was the ease in making contact whenever required. Most importantly we now have an environment that accommodates the learning styles of all our students.

Peter Cobb (Principal, Flaxmill Primary School)

I worked closely with Kirsty and Adam and felt that they really listened and understood our needs at Trinity Gardens School.  Their architectural response was both clever and innovative - responding to our needs beyond expectation.  They demonstrated a high degree of dedication and professionalism.  I would recommend them without hesitation.

Vicki Stokes (Former Principal, Trinity Gardens Primary School)

Adam and Kirsty are terrific. We have such a lovely house now. Clever design, very collaborative. I absolutely would recommend them. They took the time to get on the same page as us. Very good with the environmental aspects and efficiency of our house. Great communicators. They saw us through the whole process and have been in our corner always. I am pleased every day by the great design of my home. It does what good architecture should: It has made my life better. Thank you.

Kathrine Todd-Menzel (Owner of Lower Mitcham House)

Adam and Kirsty just go from strength to strength. They seemingly have an endless and generous bucket of ideas, but always balance pragmatism and style. Adam designed our renovation in his pre-KHAB days and Adam and Kirsty designed our jack-knife shed / house on our farm. All our visitors love it. Such a clever design that we love living in. It works perfectly. We always recommend KHAB to anybody seeking authentic architects who are always interested in getting the best for their client.

Catriona Byrne (Return client across multiple projects)

The addition of light and space draws our family together. Whether it’s sharing family dinner, watching movies in the lounge, debriefing big nights out around the island bench, cooking up a storm in the kitchen or having mates over, we love the lofty ceilings, the visual connection with the pool, warm timber features, garden views through the picture windows and durable polished concrete floors.  Even mundane tasks like doing the laundry and working from home are enjoyable.

Melissa Solly (Owner of the Fullarton House)
